I had been looking forward to Tara and Dave’s wedding since January 2015 when we first started talking about their wedding plans. It didn’t take long for me to see how genuine and kind Tara and Dave are. They lived in Arizona when we first met so we shot their engagement session on one of their trips home to Central New York. See their engagement session here! We clicked as soon as we met and I knew their wedding would be a blast. All throughout the wedding planning process, Tara was ahead of the curve when it came to providing me information, staying organized, and communicating any wedding details. I am so fortunate to work with brides like this as it helps me better document the wedding day. Tara and Dave made the wedding planning process look easy, though I know they put a lot of hard work into it. The day of the wedding I met the bridal party at Turning Stone Resort where they were getting ready. The bridesmaids had me laughing hysterically while I was taking detail shots. From there, we headed to Hamilton College for the first look and formal photos. I love all of the backdrop options the campus provides. After the family and bridal party portraits, we headed to Greystone Castle for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony felt intimate and true to Tara and Dave. That led way to the reception which was nothing shy of a huge celebration! All of the details of the day were carefully thought out and it showed. The reception room had a cozy and romantic fall theme. The day was beautiful from start to finish. There is no doubt Tara and Dave have an adventure-filled future ahead. I am humbled and honored I was able to document their special day!
