What I love most about my job is the fact that I work with fun and adventurous couples. When couples share engagement session ideas with me, I get very excited! During the planning process, I always encourage couples to get as creative as they’d like with their engagement session. Sometimes ‘getting the shot’ means kicking off my shoes, rolling up my jeans, or bundling up in winter gear, which I’m ALL about! I have a blast shooting engagement sessions because each one is so unique!
When Haley told me she wanted a snowy Syracuse engagement session, I was thrilled! We planned to meet at her aunt’s lake house which was the perfect setting for these two. If there is any way to enjoy the winter weather, it’s snuggling up with your love! Although it was freezing outside, these two came prepared with hand warmers, hot cocoa, a cozy blanket, and Jack Johnson songs! The rustic backdrop and fresh snow were perfect for playing in…and yes, a snowball fight ensued! They have a beautiful relationship and it was hard to even think about the cold with all of the happiness between them. Their joy was effortless and contagious. Their sweet dog Mason also made an appearance in his bow tie! If their wedding day is anything like their engagement session, it’s going to be amazing! I can’t wait for their big day at Emerson Park in Auburn this September! Enjoy some of my favorites from this snowy Syracuse engagement session!
