Megan & Scott’s Drumlins Country Club Wedding

I was so excited to second shoot Megan and Scott’s wedding with Lisa Walsh. Megan and Scott were a great couple to work with and there were many details about their wedding that I loved! The ceremony was at Holy Family in Camillus and the reception was held at Drumlins Country Club.

Pre-ceremony shot of the guys.

Megan’s sister and maid of honor.

Scott seeing Megan for the first time as she was walking down the aisle. The night before the wedding Scott snuck a few gifts into Megan’s moms house where she got ready the morning of the ceremony. Just before she was ready to put her dress on Megan’s mom gave her the gifts to open. He surprised her with a very sweet card that said “he’s her lobster” (for all of you Friends fans!), a beautiful watch, and a framed Norman Rockwell print of a couple going to get their marriage license that Megan mentioned she loved a few months prior. I knew from that point on there were going to be many emotional moments throughout the day!

Megan looked timeless and beautiful.

A few shots downtown after the ceremony. They were both naturals which made for beautiful photos of the two of them.

I LOVE Megan’s shoes!

Their first dance brought me to tears. They chose Darius Rucker “History In The Making,” a song that I have loved from the moment I heard it. This is one of my favorite pictures from the day. Their connection here is pure and undeniable.

Megan and her dad.

Scott and Megan’s daughter dancing. Another very sweet moment. The two of them were precious together!

Finally, some detail shots. Megan and Scott are both huge Syracuse fans. Scott proposed to her at the Dome during the Akron game in 2009. Otto the Orange brought the ring over and he popped the question on the big screen in front of 36,991 fans! Nicely done Scott! The bottom right is the table where they sat during the reception.

Thank you to Scott, Megan and Lisa for letting me be a part of your day. Wishing your family many years of happiness!
