Ryan & Renae’s Wedding Celebration

Many, many thanks to Lisa Walsh for giving me the opportunity to second shoot at this wedding. Ryan and Renae were truly a wonderful couple to meet. I couldn’t help but feel inspired by the connection they shared with one another. Their whole day was focused on friends, family, and love. They incorporated many of their own unique ideas throughout the day so that their wedding really represented the two of them.

Here are a few shots of Renae getting ready. Her beauty was completely effortless. She was so relaxed and confident, she nearly forgot to look at herself in the mirror before she headed out the door to marry Ryan.

The reception was held at the Lakewatch Inn in Lansing, NY. Here is their first dance as husband and wife. I just love this picture.

The best man had them laughing hysterically during his speech!

The next picture is hilarious. Ryan is teaching his mother-in-law the “jump on it” dance. Clearly, Ryan grew up during the 90’s…

And for some bonus shots…Ryan and Renae, being the fun couple that they are, were interested in doing a day after session. Again, I was lucky enough to shoot their session with Lisa Walsh. We started out very early the day after their wedding. Ryan and Renae were such good sports not only for waking up really early, but also for being out the freezing cold weather. They were so very happy they were officially a married couple! Their excitement made the session a great time.
